Randy Pettus serves as the Executive Pastor for Crossroads Baptist Church in Elizabethtown. With a deep desire to make a positive impact on the community, Randy joined the DSAH board, motivated by a genuine commitment to supporting families with Down Syndrome in the local area.

Randy’s connection to the cause of DSAH is rooted in personal relationships, as he is friends with parents of a remarkable young man with Down Syndrome. Witnessing the challenges and triumphs of this family inspired Randy to actively contribute to the well-being of individuals and families affected by Down Syndrome in the region. He finds joy in the rewarding experiences of community engagement, particularly through events such as the Buddy Walk, which serves as DSAH’s primary annual fundraiser.

“Serving on the board is a small way to help these families,” he said. “It is worth every minute when you see all the kids at one of our events like the Buddy Walk.”
