Meet Madison!
Madison is the 3-year-old daughter of Kenny and Beth Dugas. Madison was diagnosed with Down syndrome prenatally at 20 weeks. She was also born with a heart defect and went into heart failure at two months old. Madison was placed for transplant and had a heart transplant at seven months old. She’s now a happy and sassy 3 year old. She doesn’t have any words, but definitely tells you what she wants. She is spunky and sassy and wants to play with all the big kids. She’s not yet walking, but scoots everywhere to get where she wants to go. She attends DSAH Circle Time.
